The giant oak doors of the old school creaked as someone pushed them open wide. The figure looked up at the dazzling bright entrance hall and smiled, he was back. He pulled put his hands in the pockets of his dark black robes and felt his wand safely inside the folds. He grinned as he looked around him and saw many student flooding into the school from the darkness outside and the Thestrals which pulled the carriages.
The milling crowd made him also remember that this year he was meant to have a responsability as a prefect. The shining silver badge with the giant P on it shone in the glittering light from the chandelier.

April got out of the carriage alone, she had seen some of her friends on the train, but she hadn't bothered to talk to them or anything. She walked slowly up the front steps of Hogwarts, not wanting to actually go in. So she stood infront of the doors for a moment, as she prepaired herself. Finally she slowly followed a couple students in the huge double doors, as she took a deep breath. She was over come with a terrible feeling. A pain in her stomach. Something bad was going to happen this year, but as of yet no preminitons or anything. She decided that maybe it had just been nerves, that were getting to her and she tried to pust the feeling aside. She saw the boy she had met at the train station standing in the middle of the grand entrance. She looked down slightly as she walked by him.

Tom felt something as soemone walked past, but by then he had forgotten about April, the trip had been so eventful he had forgotten about even that morning when a 4 year old had spewed all over his things before he left.
He looked into the open doors of the great hall and he followed the students in, the warm bright light of the candles floating was so greeting...
